Part Time School Custodian Position

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaner to maintain the cleanliness and hygiene standards at Preston Primary School. This role is crucial in providing a safe and clean learning environment for our students.
Key Responsibilities:- Perform general cleaning duties, including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming to ensure areas are tidy.
- Replenish supplies in bathrooms and kitchen areas.
- Ensure waste is collected and disposed of properly.
- Follow health and safety regulations while handling cleaning chemicals.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards observed during cleaning.
- Prior cleaning experience, preferably in a school setting.
- Knowledge of cleaning techniques and use of cleaning equipment.
- Good physical condition to perform manual cleaning tasks.
- Understanding of health and safety practices related to cleaning.
Estimated salary: £8.50 - £9.50 per hour (dependent on experience). Flexible working hours available.
