About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Early Help Coordinator to join our 0-25 social care service. As a key member of our team, you will work closely with disabled children and young people, their families, and other networks to provide effective support and inclusion.

Key Responsibilities

  • Visit children in their homes and schools to develop positive relationships and gain an understanding of their experiences.
  • Organize and chair review meetings, preparing and sharing reports in a timely and professional manner.
  • Represent young people or the team/service at internal and external meetings relevant to the families allocated to you.
  • Work closely with agencies, providers, and family members to ensure the right level of multi-agency support.
  • Review plans created by social workers and ensure they produce good outcomes for children and families.

Requirements

  • NVQ level 3 or equivalent qualification related to the provision of services to children and young people.
  • Experience of working in a statutory setting with children, young people, and families.
  • Confident communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to work in a team, build relationships, and meet time frames.
  • Awareness and experience of risk assessment and relevant childcare legislation.

Please note that an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check is required for this post. You will also need access to a car for travel to various locations within South Gloucestershire.
