Early Help Open to Review Specialist

This part-time position involves working directly with disabled children and young people, their families, and other networks to help them achieve the best possible outcomes.
Key Responsibilities- Visit children in various settings to develop positive relationships and gain an understanding of their lived experiences.
- Organize and chair review meetings, preparing and sharing reports in a timely and professional manner.
- Represent young people or the team/service at internal and external meetings relevant to allocated families.
- Review plans created by social workers within the 0-18 team to ensure good outcomes for children and families.
- Gather and share information to inform reviews, assessments, and plans for children and families open to the team.
- NVQ level 3 or equivalent qualification related to providing services to children and young people.
- Experience working in a statutory setting with children, young people, and families.
- Confident communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Able to work in a team, build relationships, and meet time frames to deliver support to children and families.
- Awareness of risk assessment and ability to take appropriate action.
- Knowledge of relevant childcare legislation, processes, and procedures.
The estimated salary for this role is £25,000 - £30,000 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience. The position requires an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check and access to a car for travel.
