Clinical Services Administrator

This exciting opportunity exists for a highly skilled Medical Secretary to join our team. As a key member of the Multidisciplinary Team, you will provide administrative support to enable a comprehensive secretarial service to the clinical team and contribute to the ongoing development of the service.
The ideal candidate will have a good level of general education, including GCSE English, and be highly proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel spreadsheets. They will also have experience of working on patient administration systems and providing a competent administration/PA service to a senior manager/clerician.
You will be highly organised, able to work independently and as part of a team, and maintain confidentiality at all times. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, and the ability to handle sensitive information with discretion are essential.
Salary: £24,071-£25,674 per annum (pro rata). Benefits include use of a car or access to a means of mobility to travel across the Trust footprint in line with service needs.
Main Tasks- Administrative support to the Multidisciplinary Team, including typing of medical and other correspondence.
- Liaison with GPs, patients, social workers, CPNS, ward staff, etc., regarding medication queries, appointments, referrals, and emergencies.
- Maintenance of electronic tracking systems for case-notes, ensuring safe dispatch of patient information, and releasing information only to authorised persons.
