Development Officer

This is a full-time permanent opportunity to join a friendly and supportive development, fundraising and campaigns team in a highly regarded institution and provide support for all fundraising activity as well as enhance the donor programme.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor donor giving levels and identify opportunities to upgrade donations to meet fundraising targets and provide insightful and quality data to expand the team's knowledge of the alumni database, ensuring it is cleansed regularly
  • Contribute to the fundraising strategy and results including developing the communications materials such as digital content, email, post as well as phone and in-person communications to secure new individual donors, reconnect with lapsed donors to renew their support and secure outstanding pledges
  • Lead the development and stewardship of the institution's legacy giving strategy and alumni networking fundraising initiatives, and support students with fundraising campaigns
  • Ensure that donations and gifts are recorded accurately in the database and ensure comprehensive record keeping of all alumni contacts
  • Attend stewardship events to thank donors
  • Other duties and tasks as defined by the Head of Development Campaigns
