About the Role

Oxfordshire County Council is seeking a highly skilled Senior Planning Officer to join their Development Management team. The successful candidate will be responsible for processing planning applications and details for major infrastructure developments.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Processing planning applications and details for major infrastructure developments
  • Providing guidance, advice and support to colleagues, councillors, applicants and agents
  • Preparing Screening and Scoping Opinions for Environmental Impact Assessment

The ideal candidate will have an excellent knowledge of relevant planning legislation and policy, a degree or significant experience in Town and Country Planning and at least three years' experience in development management.
