We are seeking an experienced Clinician to join our team at Berry Street. As a Clinician, you will be working with young people and their families to promote healing, recovery, and positive change. This is an exciting opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of those you work with.

About the Role
In this key role, you will be facilitating group and individual sessions with young people and their families to promote healing, recovery, and empowerment. You will conduct comprehensive clinical assessments and develop treatment plans that meet the needs of our clients. Additionally, you will work collaboratively with other professionals, including teachers, social workers, and healthcare providers, to ensure a coordinated approach to supporting young people and their families.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor degree level or higher qualification in a Health or Welfare related field such as Social Work, Occupational Therapy, Psychology, Family Therapy, Speech Pathology, Art Therapy, or related discipline.
  • Solid understanding of trauma and its impacts on attachment and developmental milestones for young people.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children, families, and community.
