We are recruiting for a skilled Hospital Porter to join our team at Hampshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of the healthcare team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safe movement of patients, goods, and equipment within our hospitals.

The successful candidate will be highly organized, with excellent time management skills and a strong attention to detail. They will also possess a strong understanding of patient safety and confidentiality.

Our competitive salary package includes £23,498 - £28,404 per annum, depending on experience, plus a comprehensive benefits package, including pension scheme and opportunities for professional development.

Key Tasks:
  • Moving patients, goods, and equipment between departments using manual handling techniques and equipment
  • Supporting shift leads and colleagues in maintaining a safe and efficient working environment
  • Contributing to the implementation of new policies and procedures to improve patient care and outcomes
  • Working collaboratively with other teams to achieve shared goals and objectives
