Job Description

Careerlink Ltd is seeking a skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team, providing specialized services to individuals with disabilities in Staffordshire and surrounding areas.

This role offers a challenging and rewarding opportunity to work with a diverse population, utilizing your expertise in assessment, equipment provision, and adaptation recommendations. As a key member of our team, you will contribute to the development of innovative solutions that improve the lives of our service users.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify client needs and develop tailored intervention plans, incorporating risk assessments and single-handed care assessments where necessary.
  • Collaborate with service users, carers, and other professionals to ensure seamless service delivery, coordinating referrals and adapting plans as required.
  • Maintain accurate records and provide timely reports on client progress, identifying areas for quality improvement and implementing strategies to address these.
  • Stay current with industry developments, legislation, and best practices, applying this knowledge to inform evidence-based practice and contribute to quality improvement initiatives.
  • Participate in regular supervision and contribute to quality improvement initiatives, promoting a culture of continuous learning and professional growth.

Requirements:

  • Qualifications: Degree in Occupational Therapy or equivalent.
  • Experience: Minimum 2 years post-qualification experience, preferably in a similar role.
  • Skills: Strong assessment and planning skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Salary: £38,000 - £48,000 per annum (dependent on experience), plus benefits package.
