Business Development Executive

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Executive to drive sustainable growth and profitability for Balens Specialist Insurance Brokers. As a key member of our dynamic team, you will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, cultivating strategic partnerships, and delivering innovative solutions that meet the evolving needs of our customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities to drive growth and profitability
  • Cultivate and maintain strategic partnerships to expand our service delivery
  • Develop and deliver innovative solutions to meet customer needs
  • Work collaboratively with our Compliance and Agency teams to ensure regulatory components are achieved
  • Resolve incidents promptly and implement improvements based on analysis
  • Identify opportunities for individual and team development, fostering a culture of continuous learning
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and embed compliance in work
Requirements:
  • Demonstrated success in lead acquisition and conversion
  • Understanding of commercial insurance
  • Knowledge of performance reporting and KPI management
