About the Role
The position of Supply Nursery Nurse at Bangor University is a unique opportunity for a dedicated and passionate individual to work with young children in a supportive and inclusive environment.
Key Responsibilities
- To develop and implement engaging programs for children aged birth to five years in collaboration with the team.
- To support and work closely with colleagues to ensure the provision of high-quality care and education.
- To build strong relationships with parents and carers, promoting the integration of children with special needs.
- To maintain accurate records of children's progress and achievements for parents and carers.
- To participate in regular staff meetings, training sessions, and other activities that contribute to the growth and development of the team.
- To be flexible and adaptable in working practices, including occasional changes to working hours.
Requirements
- Level 2 qualification in childcare.
- Positive approach to continuing professional development (CPD).
- Awareness of health and safety and food hygiene in the workplace.
Desirable
- Completion of safeguarding awareness course.
- First aid certificate.
- Child protection certificate.
- Health and safety certificate.
- Food hygiene certificate.
