Job Title: Train Maintenance Specialist
We are seeking dedicated professionals to join our team at TXM Recruit as a Train Maintenance Specialist in North London. This exciting role involves undertaking corrective and preventative maintenance, servicing, and repair of rolling stock assets.
Main Responsibilities:
- Perform scheduled modification/maintenance activities on the rolling stock in accordance with vehicle modification and maintenance instructions.
- Undertake servicing and preparation of the rolling stock.
- Drive within depot confines in accordance with depot operating procedures and instructions.
- Participate in continuous improvement activities for modification/maintenance processes and maintenance procedures.
- Support new train delivery and undertake modification/maintenance acceptance processes.
- Ensure timely completion of exam tasks, rectify or repair basic faults when required.
- Adhere to health and safety processes and procedures.
- Undertake preventative and corrective maintenance as required.
- Support Mods/Maintenance Team Leaders and Shift Production Managers in delivering the production plan.
- Record work activities and stock consumption using the maintenance management system.
Estimated Salary: £42,500 per annum based on experience.
About the Role: As a Train Maintenance Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of rolling stock. Your duties will include performing routine maintenance tasks, inspecting equipment, and participating in continuous improvement initiatives.
