Job Title: Behaviour Specialist
Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Behaviour Specialist to join our team at a wonderful school in LN8. The successful candidate will work closely with a child in Year 3 who has challenging behaviour, supporting their learning and encouraging positive behaviour on a daily basis.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the child as necessary, working collaboratively with the class teacher to monitor understanding and plan next steps.
- Help prepare additional resources for the classroom environment and activities ready for the day and the lessons.
- Work closely with the child's family to develop an understanding of their needs and maintain this communication.
- Take part in school trips, events, and activities as a 1:1 TA for the child.
- Attend any additional CPD as required.
- Follow the school's policy for behaviour and maintain high standards.
- Report safeguarding disclosures or concerns as necessary to the designated safeguarding lead.
Requirements:
- Experience of working in a school or nursery setting in the last 5 years.
- Level 2 or 3 Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools qualification (desirable).
- Good literacy, numeracy, and IT skills.
- A clear, enhanced DBS.
