Job Title: Behaviour Specialist

Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Behaviour Specialist to join our team at a wonderful school in LN8. The successful candidate will work closely with a child in Year 3 who has challenging behaviour, supporting their learning and encouraging positive behaviour on a daily basis.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the child as necessary, working collaboratively with the class teacher to monitor understanding and plan next steps.
  • Help prepare additional resources for the classroom environment and activities ready for the day and the lessons.
  • Work closely with the child's family to develop an understanding of their needs and maintain this communication.
  • Take part in school trips, events, and activities as a 1:1 TA for the child.
  • Attend any additional CPD as required.
  • Follow the school's policy for behaviour and maintain high standards.
  • Report safeguarding disclosures or concerns as necessary to the designated safeguarding lead.

Requirements:

  • Experience of working in a school or nursery setting in the last 5 years.
  • Level 2 or 3 Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools qualification (desirable).
  • Good literacy, numeracy, and IT skills.
  • A clear, enhanced DBS.
