About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team in the Carmarthen region. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing expert care and attention to children and young people with emotional behavior disorder and/or complex needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support children and young people in achieving their goals and promoting their welfare
  • Ensure a safe and inclusive environment for all individuals, regardless of their background, situation, or ability
  • Adhere to personal care plans and strict health and safety practices
  • Build strong relationships with children, young people, and their families
  • Maintain accurate records and adhere to GDPR guidelines
  • Provide child-centered care and support to individuals with complex health and emotional needs
Requirements
  • Child-centered approach to care
  • Positive attitude and previous experience in children's social care or a transferrable skill role
  • Full UK driving license
  • NVQ Level 3 Health and Social Care or willingness to work towards it
  • Basic understanding of children's human rights and safeguarding
  • Self-motivation and determination to grow and succeed
  • Enhanced DBS check
