Public Sector Payroll Opportunity
Venn Group Recruitment is excited to offer a challenging and rewarding opportunity for a Deputy Payroll Manager to join a prestigious Public Sector organisation. As a key member of the finance team, the successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality payroll services and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.

Key Responsibilities
The Deputy Payroll Manager will be responsible for coordinating the Payroll team's activities, developing strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, and deputising for the Payroll Manager as required. The individual will also respond to complex enquiries from employers and stakeholders, monitor legislation related to Payroll and IR35, and produce statistical information for external bodies. Additionally, the successful candidate will support the Payroll and Payments Manager in overseeing the Monthly expenses process.

Requirements
Candidates must have experience operating computerised payroll systems, excellent communication skills, and the ability to supervise the work of others. The estimated salary for this position is £23,000 per annum, based on a 9-12 month contract with a hourly rate of £20-£25 in Wolverhampton.
