Compliance Manager

Franklin Templeton Investments is seeking a highly skilled Compliance Senior Manager to join our Global Compliance team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring that our alternative products and services comply with relevant laws, regulations, and internal policies across different jurisdictions.
Key Responsibilities- Compliance Policy Development: Develop, implement, and maintain compliance policies, procedures, and controls for alternative products and services.
- Compliance Advice and Oversight: Provide compliance advice and oversight on alternative product launches, registrations, disclosures, and marketing materials.
- Compliance Monitoring and Testing: Conduct compliance monitoring and testing to identify and mitigate compliance risks and issues.
- Regulatory Liaison: Liaise with regulators, auditors, and external parties on compliance inquiries, inspections, and reporting.
- Regulatory Knowledge and Training: Keep abreast of regulatory developments and industry best practices in alternatives compliance and provide training and updates to relevant stakeholders.
- Experience: 10+ years of relevant experience, preferably at a large financial institution or regulator.
- Regulatory Knowledge: A good understanding of regulatory requirements impacting alternative funds, including private equity, real estate, and private credit.
- Communication Skills: Strong communication skills, both virtual and in-office.
- Language Skills: Fluent in English, with French, German, or other European languages a plus.
