Our mission is to develop Whole Genome Sequencing-based metagenomic and individual pathogen clinical tools to identify Pathogen X and provide early warning of disease epidemics.

Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Quality Assurance Analyst to join our team. As a QA Analyst, you will play a key role in ensuring the quality and functionality of our genomic analysis platform. You will collaborate closely with other members of the EIT Pathogen Programme team, as well as external third parties, to support the testing and validation processes of our Pathogena product.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the testing and validation of pathogen data analysis pipelines.
  • Support the QA team in ensuring that testing processes are efficient and scalable.
  • Work with senior team members to contribute to manual and automated testing efforts.
  • Document test cases and ensure that defects are logged and tracked appropriately.
  • Participate in testing the cloud deployment of the platform to ensure reliability and performance.
  • Collaborate with the team on continuous improvements to the testing process.
Requirements:
  • A strong interest in quality assurance and testing processes.
  • Familiarity with basic testing methodologies (manual and automated testing).
  • An understanding of software development processes.
  • A desire to work in a cloud-based environment (such as AWS, GCP, or Oracle Cloud).
  • Good communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively in a team.
  • Experience working flexibly within a fast-paced team environment.
