Children's Nurse

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Children's Nurse to join our team at Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. As a Band 5 Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care to children of all ages, from 0-18 years, with a wide range of medical conditions.
Our team is dedicated to delivering high-quality care, and we are committed to supporting your professional development and growth. You will work closely with experienced colleagues, including Band 6s and Ward Sisters, to provide comprehensive care to our patients.
The role involves working on various wards, including Robins Ward, Kamrans Ward, Bellhouse Drayson Ward, Children's CDU, Toms Ward, and Paediatric Critical Care (PCC). Each ward has its unique specialities and challenges, and you will have the opportunity to develop your skills and expertise in a variety of areas.
Key Responsibilities- Provide exceptional patient care, underpinned by evidence-based practice
- Maintain and develop high standards of nursing care, reflecting professional nursing practice and patient care
- Support Senior Band 5 and 6s and 7s
- Be self-aware and responsible for your own training needs, skill enhancement, and registration renewal
