Job Title: Marine Procurement & Logistics Officer

Zodiac Maritime is a leading international ship operating company providing a wide range of management services for a diverse fleet of commercial ships. Our company is headquartered in London and has representative offices across Europe and Asia.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Marine Procurement & Logistics Officer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for sourcing high-quality spares and parts, managing supplier relationships, and ensuring the efficient procurement process.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Source and procure high-quality spares and parts for the fleet in a cost-effective manner.
  • Monitor and manage supplier performance, ensuring timely delivery and quality of goods.
  • Coordinate logistics and shipping instructions for connecting orders to vessels.
  • Use procurement systems to track and manage orders, ensuring smooth follow-up and visibility of fleet supply.
  • Attend Master and Chief Engineers' briefings and join assigned fleet.
Requirements:
  • Demonstrated experience in category management and procurement.
  • Strong market awareness and understanding of maritime supply chain components, regulations, and market conditions.
  • Commercial aptitude and ability to negotiate with suppliers.
  • Strong focus on delivering quality and meeting deadlines.
  • Procurement or Marine Engineering related degree or equivalent.
