Join a dynamic team at the Structural Engineering Alliance Group as a Graduate Structural Engineer. We are seeking a talented and motivated individual to work on a diverse range of projects, including theatre buildings, show productions, and outdoor events.

As a Graduate Structural Engineer, you will have the opportunity to work with the latest design software and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-value projects. You will be responsible for creating and managing structural designs, liaising with clients and stakeholders, and ensuring projects are appropriately resourced.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Use the latest design software to create and manage structural designs.
  • Liaise with key clients and discuss design/technical solutions with team members and stakeholders.
  • Ensure projects are appropriately resourced, delegating work to team members, programming deliverables, and monitoring progress.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering or equivalent (Master's degree preferred).
  • Understanding of the use of design tools within a BIM environment.
  • Use of industry design standards, i.e., DMRB; Manual for Streets; NJUG SSG, etc.
  • Problem solver able to offer solutions to challenges.
  • Able to work and collaborate as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Confident, articulate, collaborative, and proactive.
  • Eagerness to learn and to develop your skills and career with training support.
  • Good time management and organizational skills to efficiently manage workload.
  • A good knowledge of the CDM regulations in addition to British standards and EU regulations.
  • Excellent spoken and written English.
  • Full UK driving license and a willingness to travel across the UK.
  • Eligibility to live and work in the UK and be able to demonstrate proof when requested.
