We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Registered Children's Nurse to join our dedicated Emergency Department team at Countess of Chester Hospital NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care to children and their families in a fast-paced environment.


Key Responsibilities:


1. Perform regular assessments on patient needs, plan, implement, and evaluate care delivery, and adapt to changing healthcare requirements in ED and Children's Assessment Unit.


2. Maintain accurate and comprehensive patient records, adhering to Trust policies, and be accountable for collecting, collating, and reporting information.


3. Establish and maintain effective communication with patients, relatives, and carers to ensure their involvement in treatment, planning, and care delivery.


4. Assess the need for escorted transfers of high-dependency patients according to Trust policy within ED and over to Children's Unit.
