Renal Dietitian Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced dietitian to join our Tayside Nutrition & Dietetic Service Renal Team. The successful candidate will provide specialist nutrition and dietetic services to adults within the Renal service, including inpatients, outpatients, and input to haemodialysis units across Tayside.

This role would suit an experienced Band 6 Renal Dietitian or an experienced Band 5 Dietitian with a passion for this specialist area. Excellent working relationships exist with dietetic colleagues throughout NHS Tayside via the Tayside Nutrition & Dietetic Service and the Tayside Nutrition Network to develop and implement evidence-based practice, receive peer support, and progress Continuous Professional Development.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing specialist nutrition and dietetic services to adults within the Renal service
  • Working as part of a multi-disciplinary team to improve the health of people affected by kidney conditions
  • Developing and implementing evidence-based practice
  • Receiving peer support and progressing Continuous Professional Development

We require excellent inter-personal and communication skills, with the ability to demonstrate good team working and work autonomously. You must be registered with the Health and Care Professions Council.
