Hays Specialist Recruitment Limited is seeking an experienced Credit Controller to join a welcoming and vibrant team at a highly respected, well-known Teesside organisation.
Your new role
As a Credit Controller, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of a portfolio of clients, ensuring payment is made within agreed contract SLA's. You will query resolution, chase aged debt, secure payment commitment or valid reason for non-payment, follow up and monitor payments, agree credit limits, escalate limit reviews, and manage disputes. Building strong client relationships is key to your success in this role.
What you'll need to succeed
You will need experience of full end-to-end Credit Control, as this role requires you to manage your own portfolio of clients. A strong understanding of credit management principles and practices is essential, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
