Cleveland Cable Co Ltd is seeking a skilled Credit Controller to join our team in Middlesbrough. As a key member of our Credit Control Team, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of customers, ensuring timely payments, and resolving any disputes or issues that may arise.
Key Responsibilities:- Monitor customer payments and contact those who are in default to obtain immediate payment or a committed payment date.
- Record all conversations and correspondence with customers, ensuring accurate and up-to-date records.
- Identify and report any detrimental changes in customer behavior that may impact cash flow.
- Work closely with the team to resolve any disputes or issues that may impact customer payments.
- Assist in the preparation and issue of 7-Day letters to customers who have not made payment.
- Contribute to the smooth running of the department by ensuring any problems or issues are brought to the attention of the Team Supervisor and Manager.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills to effectively manage customer relationships.
- Highly organized and able to prioritize workloads within a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to meet deadlines without compromising accuracy.
- Computer literate with good working knowledge of Microsoft products.
This is a full-time position with a salary dependent on experience and negotiable. The role requires a minimum of 1 year of experience in credit control or a related field.
