Wayman Learning Trust is seeking a dedicated SEN Support Assistant to join our team in Clapham. This role offers the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of students with speech and language needs.

About the Role:

  • We are looking for an enthusiastic and patient individual to provide 1:1 and small group support to students with speech and language challenges.
  • You will work closely with speech and language therapists to adapt strategies and reinforce progress in the classroom setting.
  • Your key responsibilities include tracking and monitoring student progress, providing regular feedback to teachers, therapists, and the SENCO to refine individualized support plans.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Previous experience in speech and language support, either in an educational or clinical setting, is highly desirable.
  • You should possess strong communication skills, patience, and a compassionate approach to student support.
  • An up-to-date DBS check is required for this position.

Salary and Benefits:

This rewarding role comes with a competitive salary of £25,000 per annum, plus benefits.
