Speech and Language Assistant Role in Waltham Forest, London
A fantastic opportunity has arisen to join a dynamic and supportive mixed secondary school in Waltham Forest, London, as a Speech and Language Assistant. This is an ideal position for graduates with a passion for supporting students with Speech and Language difficulties.

About the Role
The successful candidate will work one-to-one and in small groups with students who have Speech and Language difficulties, assisting in implementing tailored strategies to enhance their communication and academic skills. The role requires collaboration with teachers, parents, and specialists to provide holistic support for each student. Inspire confidence and help children thrive in their learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide individualized support to students with Speech and Language needs
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve students' communication skills
  • Collaborate with teaching staff, parents, and specialists to create a supportive learning environment

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree (2:1 or higher) from a reputable UK University
  • Passion for working with students with Speech and Language difficulties
  • Commitment to working full-time until July 2025

What We Offer:
  • £90-£100 daily via PAYE (inclusive of holiday pay)
  • Full-time, long-term contract starting immediately
