Site Maintenance Coordinator

We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at Polyteck Group. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that all planned maintenance works are executed smoothly and on schedule. You will also assist with reactive callouts as needed and support the team with remedial work on emergency lighting.
Responsibilities:- Allocate sufficient labour and time to ensure efficient completion of tasks.
- Resource adequate equipment and materials in conjunction with the Supervising Technician and Maintenance Manager.
- Follow a systematic and logical sequence of work to maintain high standards.
- Complete job sheets with descriptions of callouts and time taken to track progress.
- Fulfill necessary log sheets and keep log books on site up to date to ensure accurate records.
- Conduct weekly fire alarm testing as required to ensure compliance.
- Take care of assigned tools and equipment to maintain their condition.
- Provide detailed reports to the line manager to facilitate decision-making.
- Relevant hands-on maintenance experience, preferably in a similar role.
- A solid understanding of maintenance products and systems to troubleshoot efficiently.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, prioritizing tasks effectively.
- Experience conducting weekly fire alarm tests and monthly emergency lighting inspections to ensure compliance.
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills to identify and resolve issues promptly.
- Ability to prioritize and manage tasks efficiently to meet deadlines.
- Commitment to continuous training and skill development to stay updated with industry advancements.
Polyteck Group offers a competitive salary commensurate with experience (£35,000 - £50,000 per annum) along with a comprehensive benefits package, including pension plans and ongoing training opportunities to support professional development.
