The Company:
Fitzgerald HR is a highly accredited family business distributing frozen, chilled, and ambient goods, alongside bespoke cut fresh butchery and fish. We have regional logistics capacity in the South West, Oxfordshire, Midlands, and two production plants in North Devon for butchery and fish.
Our Expertise:
We have extensive experience working with various food and hospitality sectors, including pubs, hotels, restaurants, cafes, contract caterers, education, healthcare, garden centers, business sites, and leisure clubs.
The Role:
We are seeking a self-motivated, customer-focused, and proactive Account Manager who has a passion for food and an understanding of good customer relations. You will manage an existing customer base to grow sales for the company and develop new business in your designated territory.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maximize sales potential and manage profitability and sales growth.
- Build solid customer relationships and develop new business opportunities.
- Work closely with the sales team to achieve sales targets.
- Provide excellent customer service and support to existing and new customers.
The Ideal Candidate:
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- A real passion for food and customer service.
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook).
- Evidence of consistently exceeding targets.
- Proven ability to multitask in a position of responsibility.
- Experience within a demanding customer service environment.
- Self-motivation with strong organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Good numeracy and literacy skills.
- A full UK driving license.
