Fitzgerald HR is a highly accredited family business with a strong presence in the food and hospitality sectors. We distribute a wide range of products, including frozen, chilled, and ambient goods, as well as bespoke cut fresh butchery and fish.
Our Operations:
We have regional logistics capacity in the South West, Oxfordshire, Midlands, and two production plants in North Devon for butchery and fish. Our experience and success in working with various food and hospitality sectors, including pubs, hotels, restaurants, cafes, contract caterers, education, healthcare, garden centers, business sites, and leisure clubs, make us a leading player in the industry.
The Role:
We are seeking a self-motivated, customer-focused, and proactive Account Manager who has a passion for food and a strong understanding of good customer relations. The successful candidate will manage an existing customer base to grow sales for the company and develop new business in their designated territory.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage an existing customer base to grow sales and develop new business in the designated territory.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities to drive sales growth and revenue.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless execution of sales strategies and customer service.
- Monitor and analyze sales performance to identify areas for improvement and develop strategies to address them.
Requirements:
- A real passion for food and a strong understanding of good customer relations.
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook).
- Evidence of consistently exceeding targets.
- Proven ability to multitask in a position of responsibility.
- Experience within a demanding customer service environment.
- Self-motivation with strong organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Good numeracy and literacy skills.
- Full UK driving license.
