We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Nursery Manager to lead our large nursery setting in Gloucester. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the nursery, ensuring the highest standards of care and education for our children.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and manage a team of childcare professionals to deliver high-quality care and education to children aged 0-5 years.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with the latest EYFS framework and Ofsted standards.
- Collaborate with colleagues to create a positive and inclusive learning environment that promotes children's social, emotional, and cognitive development.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of our nursery programs and make recommendations for improvement.
- Ensure the nursery is a safe and healthy environment for children, staff, and visitors.
- Minimum Level 3 Qualification or equivalent in Early Years/Childcare.
- At least 3 years' experience of working in a day nursery setting.
- At least 2 years' experience of leading and supporting teams.
- Ability to inspire, energize, and support others.
- Sound knowledge of the latest EYFS framework and regulations.
- Firm knowledge of Ofsted standards and requirements.
