Children's Residential Support Professional

About the Role:
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate individual to join our team as a Children's Support Worker in a BRAND NEW children's residential service in Neath Port Talbot. As a Children's Support Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting young people between the ages of 10-18 years old in their daily lives, promoting their independence and well-being.
Key Responsibilities:
Encourage young people to take responsibility for their own lives, depending on their age.
Deal with challenging behaviours when needed, while protecting the young people from risks to their health and welfare.
Provide support for the children and young people in the home, promoting their independence and well-being.
Maintain a safe environment for young people, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.
Requirements:
A full driver's licence is essential, as you will be required to transport young people occasionally.
Experience as a Children's Residential Support Worker or with Young People is desirable, but not essential.
NVQ or QCF level 3 in Children & Young People is desirable.
