Head of PSHE Education

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated professional to lead our PSHE education provision. As Head of PSHE Education, you will be responsible for developing and implementing a high-quality PSHE curriculum that meets the needs of our students.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement a PSHE curriculum that aligns with national standards and meets the needs of our students.
  2. Lead a team of PSHE teachers and support staff to deliver high-quality PSHE education.
  3. Work collaboratively with other departments to ensure a cohesive and comprehensive education provision.
  4. Develop and maintain relationships with local authorities and other stakeholders to ensure effective partnerships and collaborations.
  5. Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of the PSHE curriculum and make recommendations for improvement.

Requirements:

  1. Expertise in the PSHE curriculum and experience of developing and implementing PSHE education programs.
  2. Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with staff, students, and stakeholders.
  4. Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and contribute to the development of the school's education provision.
  5. Knowledge of safeguarding and child protection procedures and policies.
