Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced project manager to lead the digitalisation of adult social care projects for South East London. The successful candidate will work closely with care providers across the region to support digital change projects and improve digital ways of working for adult social care.

Main Responsibilities

The role will involve leading and managing a team of senior digital support officers, working closely with borough teams, colleagues within the South East London digital teams, and with NHS England regional teams to scope, plan, and deliver the requirements of the projects.

The postholder will be responsible for managing programme funding provided by NHS England and all associated reporting on delivery. The role will also involve working alongside the primary care digital transformation programme to identify opportunities for overlap and integration for improved delivery to patients and care home residents.

Requirements

The postholder must have experience of project management and working within either the adult social care or healthcare settings. They will need to have experience of working with stakeholders to influence and support change management to deliver sustainable change.

The successful candidate will also need to have experience of managing staff, coaching, and mentoring to support the team develop and deliver their project plans. They will need to have the skills to use complex data sets and national guidelines to translate into useful and manageable ways for the team and stakeholders to demonstrate improvement and meet national set requirements for the programme.
