Wildlife Trust (hwt) is seeking a talented Wildlife Conservation Communications Officer to join our team. This is a unique opportunity to capture stories about Devon's wildlife and transform them into engaging content to reach new audiences.

In this role, you will be responsible for:

  • Crafting compelling narratives that showcase the Trust's work and impact on Devon's wildlife;
  • Developing and implementing effective social media strategies to engage with existing and new audiences;
  • Collaborating with our team to ensure seamless communication and fundraising efforts;
  • Contributing to the development of engaging content across various channels.

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Experience in generating high-quality communications content and delivering successful social media campaigns;
  • A strong passion for nature and wildlife conservation;
  • Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills;
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team;
  • Familiarity with social media platforms and their uses.

The estimated salary for this role is £26,976 per annum, plus 7% pension.
