The Role

We're looking for a talented Quantitative Developer to join our team in Newcastle. You'll be responsible for integrating mathematical models built by Investment Quants and creating scalable applications using backend C# and Python.

Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • A minimum 2.1 degree in a STEM discipline from a top-tier university, backed by A grades at A-level
  • Advanced C# .Net programming skills including .Net Core
  • Strong knowledge of SQL databases
  • Thorough understanding of Computer Science fundamentals such as OOP, Data Structures, Design Patterns, Algorithms
  • Entrepreneurial spirit with good business acumen and ability to lead projects
  • Collaborative mindset and enjoyment of problem-solving
