As a Senior Support Worker, you will be integral to maintaining the high-quality reputation of one of the UK's leading providers of specialist care.
You will assist in leading a team dedicated to providing specialist residential care, therapy, and education for young people with complex needs.
Working closely with the Deputy Manager and the Senior Leadership Team, you will help create a safe and nurturing environment for young people, ensuring a genuinely therapeutic approach.
This rewarding role involves supporting the Deputy Manager with various responsibilities, including supervising staff, ensuring quality care, and liaising with external stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and support a team of Support Workers
- Ensure compliance with legislation and regulations
- Liaise with external stakeholders, including social workers and other professionals
- Contribute to the development of care plans and risk assessments
- Participate in staff training and development
Requirements:
- Level 3 qualification in children and young people's workforce or equivalent
- Knowledge of Ofsted standards and regulations
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work holistically with other professionals
