EKFB is proud to have been appointed by HS2 to deliver civil engineering works across an 80km section of the new high-speed rail link between the Chiltern Tunnel and Long Itchington Wood. We're seeking a skilled Land Surveyor to join our team in the Banbury Area.
As a key member of our survey team, you will be responsible for establishing and maintaining the site survey control network, ensuring accurate data collection and analysis. You will work closely with our Senior Land Surveyor to undertake land/topographic/hydrographic/measured building surveys, utilizing a range of specialist equipment and technology.
Your expertise in AutoCAD, Trimble Business Center, and GIS programs will be essential in analyzing data and preparing survey drawings. You will also be required to present data to clients and write reports, as well as coordinate with our Site Engineers to ensure project implementation and changes are effectively managed.
Key responsibilities will include setting out and as-built surveys, carrying out topographical and engineering surveys, and managing the registration and post-processing of point cloud data. You will also be responsible for GNSS network surveying, precise traversing, and precise leveling.
About You- HND/degree in Land Survey, Geomatics, or equivalent.
- Experience in a similar role with similar values.
- Expert knowledge of Trimble total stations, levels, and GNSS receivers.
- Excellent AutoCAD skills to produce 2D and 3D drawings.
- Good communication and report writing skills.
- Proficient in using survey software like Trimble Business Center.
- Full driving license required.
