About the Role

EKFB is proud to have been appointed by HS2 to deliver civil engineering works across an 80km section of the new high-speed rail link between the Chiltern Tunnel and Long Itchington Wood. We're seeking a skilled Land Surveyor to join our team in the Banbury Area.

As a key member of our survey team, you will be responsible for establishing and maintaining the site survey control network, reporting and validating different construction stages. You will undertake land/topographic/hydrographic/measured building surveys using specialist equipment and technology, such as robotics and 3D scanners.

Your analytical skills will be essential in analyzing data using plans, maps, charts, and software like AutoCAD, Trimble Business Center, and GIS programs. You will prepare survey drawings with the Senior Land Surveyor, present data to clients, and write reports.

You will coordinate with Site Engineers to prioritize project implementation, changes to plans, or deviations, and coordinate with consultants for inspection and approval. Setting out and as-built surveys, topographical and engineering surveys, and managing point cloud data are also key responsibilities.

About You
  • HND/degree in Land Survey, Geomatics, or equivalent.
  • Experience in a similar role with similar values.
  • Expert knowledge of Trimble total stations, levels, and GNSS receivers.
  • Excellent AutoCAD skills to produce 2D and 3D drawings.
  • Good communication and report writing skills.
  • Proficient in using survey software like Trimble Business Center.
  • Full driving license required.
