About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Product Lead to join our team at the Scottish Government. As a Product Lead, you will play a key role in ensuring the successful delivery of our digital products and services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Define, own, and solve problems to deliver high-quality products and services.
  • Manage day-to-day product planning and delivery on behalf of Senior Product Managers.
  • Understand the relationship between your specific product and the overall delivery of the product or process.
  • Support the development and delivery of functionality to meet the needs of users, managers, and stakeholders.
  • Interpret user research to make informed product decisions.
  • Use product management principles and approaches to deliver successful outcomes.
Requirements
  • Proven track record of working and delivering in a fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrable experience of creating and maintaining excellent relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Able to collate, organise, analyse, and use information to plan and deliver services, products, and technology improvements.
  • Experience of working on complex projects with fixed and challenging delivery dates.
  • Understanding of agile methodology and how to apply it.
