We are recruiting an Assistant Ecologist to join our medium-sized ecological company in Brighton. The successful candidate will work alongside experienced ecologists, contributing to a variety of projects from initial surveys through to reporting.

This role offers a competitive salary of £30,000 - £40,000 per year, depending on experience, as well as ongoing training and opportunities to grow within the consultancy. We are looking for a skilled individual who can support projects and advance their career in ecology.

The ideal candidate will have;
  • A degree in Ecology, or a related field
  • Experience in conducting ecological surveys
  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in data analysis tools
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in using ecological survey equipment and software is advantageous
