Manufacturing Engineering Team Leader

An exciting opportunity has become available within the Manufacturing Engineering team for a Principal Manufacturing Engineer / Equipment Team Leader, responsible for the day-to-day leadership of an equipment team in manufacturing.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage project and functional workloads to ensure completion on time through the team.
- Lead continuous improvement activities, representing the manufacturing team at various forums.
- Be responsible for the delivery of the team, including sickness & absence, appraisals, holidays, work load, dynamic working arrangements, and individual output.
- Formal technical Engineering/Craft Apprenticeship to NVQ Level 3/TR23/TR21.
- Formal further education certificate to HNC or equivalent in a relevant subject.
- BEng in relevant Engineering Degree.
- Able to work with minimum supervision.
- Be highly motivated and enthusiastic, to create/maintain a high performing team.
- Be a recognised point of contact for manufacturing enquiries through the deployed team.
- Must demonstrate a proactive approach to problem solving and commitment to work to meet our delivery milestones.
- Have the ability to interpret Design Drawings with a view to producing Manufacturing Build Instructions.
- Must be confident in people leadership and holding effective team/individual discussions.
- Awareness of digital communication platforms to work and communicate effectively within the workplace.
- Company bonus: Up to £2,500 (based on company performance and will vary year to year).
