Accounts Assistant

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Accounts Assistant to join our team at Personnel Selection. As an Accounts Assistant, you will play a crucial role in assisting the Senior Financial Accountant in the production of monthly management accounts.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Posting of monthly journals for Payroll, Depreciation, Prepayments & any other adjustments required.
  • Responsible for the Fixed Asset Register & Schedules.
  • Assist in the production of the Management Accounts for review by the Senior Financial Accountant.
  • Complete all Balance Sheet reconciliations on a monthly basis.
  • Assist in the preparation of the monthly Profit & Loss Schedules.
  • Produce the Month End folder.
  • Ownership of the Sales Ledger - responsible for reconciliations and maintenance.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience within an office environment working as an accounts administrator or accounts assistant.
  • Used to working as part of an accounts team across a varied accounts position.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
