Job Summary

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking a skilled Cloud Architect to work with our Enterprise customers and other AWS teams to design and implement cloud-based solutions. As a key member of the Solution Architecture team, you will ensure success in building and migrating applications, software, and services on the AWS platform.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Partner with customers and several AWS teams to craft highly scalable, flexible, and resilient cloud architectures that provide solutions to solve customer business problems and accelerate the adoption of AWS services.
  2. Educate customers on the value proposition of AWS, and participate in deep architectural discussions to ensure solutions are designed for successful deployment in the cloud.
  3. Capture and share best-practice knowledge amongst the AWS solutions architect community including authoring or otherwise contributing to AWS customer-facing publications such as whitepapers and blogs.
  4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless delivery of cloud-based solutions.
  5. Stay up-to-date with the latest AWS technologies and services to provide expert guidance to customers.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures experience.
  • 4+ years of IT development or implementation/consulting in the software or Internet industries experience.
  • Experience working within software development or Internet-related industries.
  • Experience working with AWS technologies from a dev/ops perspective.
