We are seeking an experienced AWS Cloud Solutions Architect to join our team at BASE Media Cloud Limited. As a key member of our Professional Services division, you will be responsible for leading the technical aspects of our department, delivering solutions for digital transformation and system integration projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement high-level cloud solutions for customers, including cloud infrastructure, SaaS products, and software integration tooling.
  • Brief and manage engineering and software development teams on customer solution requirements and track build progress.
  • Supervise the testing and QA process of solutions with engineering teams.
  • Work with sales teams to provide technical consultation and advice during the lifetime of a customer contract.
  • Collaborate with third-party contractors and off-shore developers to ensure consistent communication and quality of delivery across integration projects.
Requirements:
  • Previous hands-on experience with IT infrastructure, networking, cloud platforms, and software integration.
  • Detailed knowledge of media formats, media workflows, and digital video content distribution.
  • Experience working with developers to connect and integrate multiple software systems via API.
  • Fundamental understanding of software high-level and low-level design, API fundamentals, and development languages (Python, JavaScript preferred).
  • Industry-recognised cloud qualifications, such as AWS Solutions Architect.
  • Experience with Scrum/Agile project methodologies.
