Job Overview:

AWE Plc is seeking a highly experienced Senior Mechanical Safety Engineer to lead our Mechanical Safety Team. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for providing expert advice on the safe and effective implementation of engineering safety.

About the Position:

The ideal candidate will have demonstrable knowledge and experience of maintaining mechanical building services, HVAC systems, industrial gas systems, and conversant in relevant British Standards and Industry Standards. Experience of working on large civil construction projects is desirable.

You will have the ability to deliver engineering across an equivalent manufacturing and/or research environment comprising a range of infrastructure facilities and associated manufacturing and/or research plant and equipment. Previous experience of leading the delivery of engineering services across the life of an asset is also beneficial.

We offer a competitive salary of £47,690 - £70,000, a 9-day working fortnight, and a market-leading contributory pension scheme. Our company also offers family-friendly policies including maternity leave and paternity leave.
