Job Description

We are looking for a talented Senior Land and Utilities Surveyor to lead our Surveying team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing multiple survey teams, ensuring excellent safety, standards, and quality throughout projects, and communicating effectively with internal departments and project teams.

Key Requirements

  • Lead multiple survey teams and manage workload effectively\
  • Maintain excellent safety, standards, and quality throughout projects\
  • Communicate complex information to stakeholders and team members\
  • Coach and mentor team members to improve performance and share knowledge\
  • Collaborate with Site Manager to compile survey reports and provide technical support\
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments, best practices, and regulations\
  • Meet the essential requirements, including holding a valid UK driving license and having 5 years' traceable employment history\
  • Possess in-depth knowledge of survey disciplines, including PAS128 (Utility Detection), commercial responsibilities, CAD practices, site setting out skills, data management, and Quality Control\
  • Demonstrate exceptional problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to interpret complex information\
  • Show willingness to adapt to changing circumstances and priorities\
  • Possess desirable qualifications, such as GPR utility detection, laser scanning, PTS accreditation, N4CE knowledge, Level 3/4/5 QCF Certificate in Utility Mapping and Surveying, SSSTS accreditation, CSCS accreditation, NRSWA accreditation, and Permit To Dig experience\

The estimated salary for this position is approximately £60,000 - £75,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
