We are seeking a highly skilled healthcare professional to join our team at Ingeus UK, part of the global human services provider APM Group.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for qualified clinicians to embark on a new career path as a Functional Assessor. As a healthcare professional, you will be responsible for conducting health and disability assessments to understand each individual's unique needs.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Conduct comprehensive health and disability assessments to determine an individual's ability to perform daily tasks.
  2. Prepare detailed reports and recommendations for submission to the Department of Work and Pensions.
  3. Work collaboratively with colleagues to provide high-quality service to claimants and contribute to the improvement of health assessment services in the UK.

As a successful candidate, you will have:

Essential Requirements
  • At least 12 months of post-registration experience gained in the UK as an NMC registered nurse or HCPC registered paramedic, physiotherapist, or occupational therapist.
  • Experience treating a wide range of physical and mental health conditions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

The estimated salary for this role is £38,000-£50,000 per annum, depending on experience. We offer a range of benefits including:
