Job Title: Analysis Specialist

As a key member of the MBDA Guidance, Control & Navigation team, you will play a crucial role in developing innovative algorithms for Control, Navigation, Guidance, Tracking, Data Fusion, and Mission Planning.

About the Role

You will be responsible for delivering algorithms across the full life cycle of our products, from technology concept to in-service support. Your algorithms will be key enablers to achieving the performance needs of current and future Weapon and Missile Systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement algorithms for Control, Navigation, Guidance, Tracking, Data Fusion, and Mission Planning
  • Collaborate with the team to deliver algorithms across the full life cycle of our products
  • Work with a range of tools and libraries, including Matlab, Simulink, Python, C/C++, Py Torch, Open AI-Gym/Universe, and Model-based design
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A degree qualification or equivalent experience in a subject with mathematical content (e.g. Aerospace Engineering, Control Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, Computer Science)
  • Relevant Post-Doctoral or Industrial experience is a strong advantage
  • Algorithms knowledge such as Modern/Classical Control, Navigation, Data Fusion, Tracking and Guidance, Machine Learning

We offer a competitive salary of £55,000 depending on experience, as well as a range of benefits, including:
