Job Title: Analysis Specialist

As a key member of the MBDA Guidance, Control & Navigation team, you will play a crucial role in developing innovative algorithms for Control, Navigation, Guidance, Tracking, Data Fusion, and Mission Planning.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement algorithms for various applications, including Control, Navigation, and Data Fusion.
  • Collaborate with the team to deliver algorithms across the full life cycle of our products, from technology concept to in-service support.
  • Develop and maintain complex mathematical models to support algorithm development.
  • Work closely with engineers and scientists to integrate algorithms into our products.
Requirements:
  • Degree qualification or equivalent experience in a subject with mathematical content, such as Aerospace Engineering, Control Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or Computer Science.
  • Relevant Post-Doctoral or Industrial experience is a strong advantage.
  • Strong knowledge of algorithms, including Modern/Classical Control, Navigation, Data Fusion, Tracking, and Guidance.
  • Proficiency in tools and libraries such as Matlab, Simulink, Python, C/C++, PyTorch, Open AI-Gym/Universe, and Model-based design.

  • A competitive salary of £55,000 depending on experience.
  • A dynamic (hybrid) working environment, typically 4-5 days per week on-site, due to workload classification.
