Occupational Therapist

We are seeking a skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team in a Band 7 position, working within community settings and acute stroke inpatient care. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in assessing and supporting patients through their stroke recovery journey, providing high-quality therapeutic interventions to maximize independence and quality of life.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver expert therapy to stroke patients in both community and inpatient settings, utilizing evidence-based practices to optimize patient outcomes.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop tailored care plans, ensuring seamless transitions and effective discharge planning.
- Manage complex caseloads independently, utilizing strong problem-solving skills and adaptability to meet the diverse needs of patients.
- Minimum 6 months NHS experience, with a strong background in stroke rehabilitation and community-based care.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
- Ability to work autonomously, prioritizing tasks and managing time effectively to meet deadlines and deliver high-quality care.
